TESTIMONIALS
BELOW ARE COMMENTS, POSTINGS ETC FROM ALL WALKS OF LIFE ABOUT THE SERVICE PROVIDED BY PIRSAC AND THE VIEW
Today I visited Port William Inshore Rescue Service (PIRSAC) and was blown away by the phenomenal work that goes on to keep the charity afloat (no pun intended ).
PIRSAC is an Independent Lifeboat that operates in Luce Bay & Wigtown Bay and it is tasked to service by Liverpool Coastguard and manned 365 days a year by its volunteer crew.
It was a pleasure to hear from Chairperson, Kenny and Helen, the plans and aspirations for the future of The View, PIRSAC’s coffee and gift shop, a true asset to Port William village.
I even purchased a brick to personalise during my visit! For those who dont know, you can buy a brick to get your name and message printed onto your own ‘brick’ plaque that will be displayed within The View building forever. It costs just £10 and goes towards helping with the every day running costs.
A heartfelt thank you to the crew and everyone who keep things going and I look forward to assisting in any way I can to help them overcome their challenges and can’t wait to see things progress.
You can find out more about PIRSAC below, do pop along for a visit soon!
